Biography

Xie Yun, Chief Physician and Associate Researcher, works at Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital after receiving her doctorate from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She is an International Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), a Member of the International Federation for Adipose Therapeutics and Science (IFATS), a Committee Member of the Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Special Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and a Committee Member of the Adipose Medicine Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery. Since her graduate studies, she has long been engaged in the clinical treatment of autologous fat transplantation and the research and development of related technologies. She is a key member of the R&D team for 3L3M autologous fat transplantation technology and physiological fat grafting technology, and is familiar with various clinical applications of adipose-derived stem cells and adipose derivatives. In the surgical treatment of conditions such as hemifacial atrophy and localized scleroderma, she has achieved maximum therapeutic effect through minimally invasive surgery, and has participated in drafting the chapters on hemifacial atrophy treatment in several domestic and international books. She was the first to propose the ‘secondary fat grafting’ phenomenon. She has led multiple multicenter clinical trials of sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) injection, botulinum toxin for masseter reduction, and biological wrinkle removal, and has a deep understanding of the properties and injection methods of various injectable aesthetic products. With more than ten years of experience in plastic surgery, she has extensive clinical experience in basic procedures such as double eyelid surgery, eye bag removal, rhinoplasty, and scar treatment. In 2008, she visited France for academic exchange in plastic surgery, and from 2018 to 2019, she was a visiting scholar at the University of Washington Medical Center in the United States.
